We Got your back
HISTORY OF JANSPORTJansport started out with three buddies who made a living in Washington state in 1967. They were Skip Yowell (an outdoor adventurer), Murray Pletz (an engineer), and last but not least, Jan Lewis (an accomplished seamstress). The Jansport website mentioned that after Murray won a design award from the Alcoa Company for designing an adjustable aluminum frame for backpacks, he asked his girlfriend Jan to sketch out and design a backpack pattern for Murray’s creation. Murray vowed that he would name the company after Jan’s name. As a result, the Jansport brand became a booming business success in the modern-day society, and the days to come

SUPERBREAKThe Superbreak backpack was one of the first school-bags designed by Jansport. It comes with one main compartment (in the back) and one pocket located in the front. It also comes with a 2/3 padded back pannel, 16.7" x 13" x 8.5. It weighs approximately 12 ounces, which makes it one of the lightest Jansport school-bags.

BIG STUDENTThe Big Student backpack is the second best-selling schoolbag that Jansport carries. It is fairly larger than the Superbreak in terms of number of utility compartments and size. It features an ergonomic S-curve for shoulder straps, with two main compartments. Its dimensions are 17.5" x 13" x 10".
